Job summary

AMN Healthcare is seeking an Emergency Medicine Physician for locum tenens support to meet an immediate staffing need in Texas. Board-certified or board-eligible with ER experience is required, along with ACLS, PALS and BLS. A Texas license is required and IMLC is not accepted.

Expect 6a-6p or 6p-6a single-physician coverage with approximately 45 patients per day. NP/PA coverage is provided for 9 hours daily, and EMR is Meditech.

Qualifications

• ABFM or ABIM board certification with ER experience.
• ACLS, PALS, BLS certifications.
• Minimum 2+ years of ED experience or EM fellowship.

Responsibilities

• Provide emergency medicine care on assigned shifts.
• Manage ED patient flow and safety for 45 patients/day.
• Collaborate with consulting services and NP/PA coverage.

Education

ABFM or ABIM with ER experience

ACLS, PALS, BLS; 2+ years ED experience or EM fellowship
