Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Provide high-acuity clinical care in a busy academic Emergency Department with a large patient census.
• Deliver care in a state-of-the-art ED and contribute to pediatric and adult trauma care.
• Collaborate with colleagues across divisions and participate in bedside teaching and educational programs.
• Engage in research, quality improvement, and scholarly activities within an integrated Mayo Clinic network.
• Contribute to clinical pathways and operational innovation across Mayo Clinic sites.

The Department of Emergency Medicine at Mayo Clinic in Rochester, MN, is seeking an exceptional Academic Emergency Medicine Physician with a strong commitment to meaningful clinical engagement to join our dynamic and expanding practice. Qualified candidates will have completed residency in Emergency Medicine and be board certified or board eligible.

• High-acuity, high-complexity clinical practice within a busy academic Emergency Department caring for 87,000 annual visits, including ~15,000 pediatric encounters, and serving as a Level I Adult and Pediatric Trauma Center.

Compensation Detail

The minimum starting salary for hospital-based specialties may range from $217,500.00 to $533,750.00. This range reflects full-time total base compensation prior to consideration of additional experience or duties. Pay for the selected candidate will vary based on specialty, experience, FTE, internal equity, or external market data.
