Blessing’s Emergency Department is a Level II Trauma Center with approximately 40,000 visits annually. The physicians are hospital employees living in the community. Requirements include emergency medicine residency training and ABEM/AOBEM certification.

The department is seeking a Nocturnist:

1. 1504 hours per year
2. 10 p.m. - 8 a.m. shifts
3. Four days on, four days off in a 32-day cycle, followed by eight days off

The ED is supported by attending physicians across major specialties, has onsite helicopter service, and serves as the Emergency Resource Hospital for five counties. It is a Certified Chest Pain and Stroke Center with door-to-cath times under 30 minutes. Compensation is above the 90th percentile, and the hospital has received notable recognitions.
