• Residency trained in EM, FM, or IM; new grads within 12 months with 3-month proctorship accepted.
• Case logs for past 2 years and CME/CEU including Preeclampsia; up-to-date immunizations.

Responsibilities

• Provide emergency medical care for ~33 patients per day (~12,000 annually).
• Supervise and direct NP/PA mid-level providers as required.
• Work 12-hour shifts with collaboration from 10-hour mid-level coverage.
• Maintain board certification and required credentials; complete CME including Preeclampsia.
• Fulfill all credentialing, privileging, and immunization requirements prior to start.

• Licenses: Active VA medical license and DEA with VA address and schedules 2,2N,3,3N,4,5
• DEA / CDS: Active DEA with VA address and schedules 2,2N,3,3N,4,5
• Certifications: ACLS, ATLS, PALS (if not BC/EM trained), NRP for non-ABEM providers
• Experience: Residency trained in EM, FM, or IM; new graduates within 12 months acceptable with 3-month proctorship
• Other Qualifications: Case logs for past 2 years, CME/CEU including Preeclampsi, up-to-date immunizations (MMR, Varicella, TB, FLU)
