• This is a permanent position
• We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated emergency medicine physician to join an esteemed healthcare team in Oneonta, Alabama—about 45 minutes from Birmingham.
• As an emergency medicine physician, you will play a pivotal role in providing exceptional, patient-centered care to individuals in need of emergency medical services.
• Your expertise, clinical acumen, and ability to make swift and accurate decisions in critical situations will be crucial to the success of our emergency department.
• Job details include:

1. 40 patients per day
2. Admission rate of 10%
3. Manageable workload
4. 12-hour shifts; 7 a.m. - 7 p.m., with the possibility of working 24-hour shifts
5. Cerner EMR
6. Trauma cases go to UAB
