Job summary

Mental Health Association of Rochester is seeking an Emergency Medicine Physician to provide high-volume emergency care in a busy hospital setting.

Shifts include 6p-3a and 10p-7a with 24/7 NP/PA support. Board certification or eligibility in Emergency Medicine is required, plus ACLS, BLS, ATLS, PALS and Stroke Certification. Epic EMR experience is preferred. Competitive pay and travel support are provided.

Qualifications

• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Emergency Medicine with multiple approved certifications.
• ACLS, BLS, ATLS, PALS and Stroke Certification are required or preferred.
• Experience with Epic EMR is preferred.

Emergency Medicine Physician

Responsibilities

• Provide emergency medical care in a high-volume facility with an annual volume of 50,000 patients.
• Cover shifts from 6p-3a and 10p-7a, ensuring quality patient treatment.
• Support is available with NP/PA coverage 24/7, and backup specialties are accessible as needed.

Qualifications & Skills

• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Emergency Medicine, with certifications in ACLS, BLS, ATLS, PALS, and Stroke Certification.
• Experience with Epic EMR system is preferred.

Key Duties

• Deliver urgent and emergency care, collaborate with support staff, and maintain compliance with certification requirements.
• Must be prepared to handle a wide range of emergency cases in a fast-paced environment.
