Job summary

Preferred Home Health Care & Nursing Services seeks an Emergency Medicine Physician to lead urgent care in a busy ED. You will cover night shifts, collaborate with NP/PA teams, and document in Epic EMR to ensure optimal patient care.

The ideal candidate is board certified/eligible in Emergency Medicine with ACLS/BLS/ATLS and Stroke certifications, capable of independent practice in a fast-paced environment, and ready to support with backup specialties.

Qualifications

• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Emergency Medicine with ACLS, BLS, ATLS and Stroke certifications.
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment and support with backup specialties as needed.

Responsibilities

• Provide urgent care in a high-volume emergency department (~45,000 annual visits).
• Cover shifts 6p–3a and 10p–7a with NP/PA teams.
• Document using Epic EMR and maintain high standards of patient care.
• Collaborate with backup specialists and coordinate with hospital teams to deliver effective treatment.
