Job description

Health Center is seeking a BE/BC residency-trained Emergency Medicine physician to replace positions vacated as long-term physicians step into administrative roles. Join a cohesive group of physicians who are all emergency medicine residency trained and board certified, with an average tenure of 14 years. Work closely with a talented group of advanced practice providers and staff.

Responsibilities and Features:

1. 32-room department recently renovated and optimized
2. All day and evening shifts; no overnights
3. Full-time is 12-hour shifts per month
4. Department has 50 hours of physician coverage and 30 hours of APP coverage per day
5. Adult and pediatric hospitalists handle their own admissions
6. Not a trauma facility; no heads, no open hearts

Compensation & Benefits:

• $400,000-$450,000 base salary
• $75,000 sign-on bonus
• $60,000 total retention bonus (paid $20,000 at the end of years 1, 2 & 3)
• $6,000 CME annually
• Time off is already deducted from scheduled hours (1776 worked hours)
