• Active Illinois medical license required.

• Participate in EDAP & Acute Stroke Ready Hospital Initiatives.

Job description

Locums - Macomb, Illinois, Emergency Medicine Openings (IMLC Accepted)

Clinical Role:

• Shifts beginning September 2024
• Once the provider is accepted and credentialing is underway, tentative shifts can be offered
• Shifts are 8a-8p & 8p-8a, 12-hour shifts
• Weekend requirements
• No call required
• Annual volume: 14,664 patients (about 40 patients/day)
• Admission rate: 7%
• ED beds: 10
• 12 hours of APP coverage
• EMR system: Center
• Must participate in EDAP & Acute Stroke Ready Hospital Initiatives
• Trauma designation: Stroke Center
• Subspecialty backup available: ENT, Peds, GI, Optho, Ortho, Surgery, Behavioral Health, Obstetrics
• Qualifications: BC - ABEM with 2 years' experience, ACLS, BLS, DEA, active IL license
