JOB REQUIREMENTS
• Licenses: Active Louisiana license required
• Board: BC EM/IM/FM or BE EM with ACLS, ATLS, PALS
• Certifications: ACLS, ATLS, PALS (required if not BCEM)
• Experience: Residency-trained in EM/IM/FP with EM experience
• Other Qualifications: Must complete VPMA interview, EMR (EPIC) training & orientation
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
• Provide 12-hour ED coverage in a Level II trauma center
• Perform standard emergency medicine procedures
• Collaborate with NPPA staff and specialty backup
• Participate in EMR documentation using Ochsner EPIC
• Maintain credentialing and licensing requirements
