ED Volume:

• 24-hour shifts
• EMR: Meditech Expanse
• Specialty Coverage: Orthopedic specialist is on call 50% of the time and lives locally, often making themself available even when not on call; General Surgery is on call 30% of the time but does not live locally; if General surgery is needed when they are not on call, a transfer will be required
• Volume: Typically around 23 patients per 24 hours; during peak season (June-August), the volume increases to approximately 29 patients per 24 hours
• Transfers: Smooth transfers to 5+ nearby receiving hospitals; a helipad is available

Compensation

Excellent compensation package with an estimated employed W-2 pay range of $131/hour to $177/hour PLUS comprehensive USACS benefits, a 10% company-funded 401k and USACS ownership stock.
