Qualifications
- Must maintain DEA privileges in state.
- Must be fully vaccinated for Covid-19.
Responsibilities
- Provide emergency care in a Level I trauma center.
- Handle a wide range of emergency cases and procedures.

Board Certification in Emergency Medicine

Board Certified in Emergency Medicine
Active MO License
Coverage Needed:
- As soon as credentialed - ongoing
- Must be flexible to work days, nights and weekends
- Main hospital campus may consider less than 12hr shifts, affiliated FSED's require 12hr shifts
- Shift times: 6a-4p, 10a-8p, 3p-1a, 8p-6a
Clinical Information:
- Preference is for locum providers to be open to working at main hospital as well as affiliated FSER's
- Level I trauma Center
- All standard ER procedures
- Support Staff: Everything except PEDS
- Average patient census: 106
- Common cases: Trauma (penetrating), large range of "common" sick patients, lots of procedures, transfers accepted from other hospitals
- Annual ER admissions: 34%
- Occasional psychiatric cases
Required:
- DEA must remain in state to maintain privileges. Provider must be willing to transfer and maintain DEA in state or obtain a new in-state DEA for the duration of privileges.
- Current Flu Vaccine
- Must be fully vaccinated for Covid-19
- Exemptions only allowed for religious or medical reasons, with facility approval.
- Board Certified in one of the following:
- American Board of Emergency Medicine
- American Osteopathic Board of Emergency Medicine
- Active MO License
- ACLS, PALS, ATLS (must have taken ATLS at least once)
- Providers living within 50 miles of the facility are considered "Local" and are ineligible for this role.
