Job summary

Adelphi Medical Staffing LLC is seeking Emergency Medicine physicians for a locum tenens assignment at Ochsner American Legion Hospital in Jennings, LA. You will work day shifts 6a–6p, 12-hour shifts, covering 3-4 days per week to support ongoing patient care.

Candidates must hold BC EM or BC IM/FM, active Louisiana license, LA DEA and CS, PALS/ATLS/ACLS, and have at least two years of EM experience. Privileges and credentialing typically completed within 60 days.

Qualifications

• Boarded (or board-eligible) in EM or IM/FM; must be BC EM or BC IM/FM.
• Active Louisiana medical license, Louisiana DEA and CS registrations.
• Active DEA and CDS registrations required.
• Certifications: PALS, ATLS and ACLS.
• Minimum 2 years of emergency medicine experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive emergency medical care to ED patients.
• Manage an average of 38 patients per day with NPPA staff support.
• Work 12-hour day shifts, 6a–6p.
• Supervise and collaborate with NPPA in Fast Track; maintain licenses/certifications (PALS, ATLS, ACLS).
