Job Title: Locum Physician - Emergency Medicine

Join a dedicated team at a well-respected emergency department in Jackson, Ohio. This facility is seeking an experienced Emergency Medicine provider to work flexible shifts, making a significant impact in the community. With an annual volume of over 18,000 patients and a supportive team of specialists, you will have the opportunity to deliver high-quality care in an environment that values collaboration and comprehensive patient service.

Job Responsibilities:

• Provide emergency medical care to patients in a fast-paced environment.
• Oversee APPs (Advanced Practice Providers) in patient care.
• Write orders for admissions as an ED physician.
• Collaborate with various specialists including radiologists, cardiologists, and pulmonologists.
• Work a minimum of 5 shifts per month, with the opportunity for more.
• Participate in the overall management of emergency department operations.

Qualifications:

• ABMS/AOA Board Certification in Emergency Medicine.
• 2+ years of recent experience in Emergency Medicine.
• Strong clinical skills and the ability to work autonomously.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

License and Certification Requirements:

• Active Ohio State medical license (IMLC acceptable with proof of LOQ).
• Current BLS, ACLS, ATLS, PALS, and NRP certifications.
• COVID vaccination is required.
