Department of Emergency Medicine, The University of Iowa
The University of Iowa Department of Emergency Medicine is seeking faculty members for a position in Emergency Medicine. Appointment rank may be at the Assistant Professor, Associate Professor, or Professor level, and can be on either the tenure track, research track, or clinical (non-tenure) track, depending on clinical experience and research interests.
The primary practice site (academic-based vs. community-based) will be determined based on multiple factors, including department and applicant considerations, applicant qualifications and experience, and the needs of the overall healthcare system.
Opportunities are available for involvement in Pediatric Emergency Medicine, EMS, Ultrasound, Research, Toxicology, Hospice and Palliative Medicine, Critical Care, Sports Medicine, Global Medicine, Social Medicine, among others.

Formal fellowship training in areas such as Pediatric Emergency Medicine, EMS, Ultrasound, Research, Toxicology, Hospice and Palliative Medicine, Critical Care, Sports Medicine, Global Medicine, and Social Medicine is preferred.
