Emergency Medicine - Site Director opening - Harrisburg, PA

Located 40 miles to Lancaster, 80 miles to Baltimore. H1b Eligible.

Position Details

• Seeking an experienced and visionary Site Director for Emergency Medicine to lead the Emergency Department at a thriving community hospital.
• This leadership role is ideal for a physician who excels in clinical care, operational efficiency, and team management.
• As Site Director, you will oversee the daily operations of the Emergency Department, ensuring high standards of patient care, staff development, and process improvement.

Key Responsibilities

1. Oversee clinical and administrative operations to ensure efficient patient flow and quality care.
2. Lead a team of physicians, mid-level providers, nurses, and support staff, fostering a collaborative environment.
3. Ensure adherence to evidence-based practices and regulatory standards.
4. Implement and monitor quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes.
5. Collaborate with hospital leadership on strategic planning, budgeting, and resource allocation.
6. Serve as the primary liaison between the Emergency Department and other hospital departments.
7. Recruit, onboard, and mentor new physicians and staff.
8. Monitor and report on key performance metrics, including patient satisfaction, wait times, and throughput.
9. Participate in clinical duties, maintaining an active role in patient care.
10. Engage in community outreach and hospital initiatives to strengthen community ties.

Qualifications

• Board certification in Emergency Medicine.
• Minimum of 3 years of clinical experience in Emergency Medicine, preferably with leadership or administrative experience.
