Job summary

The U.S. Army Reserve is seeking an Emergency Medicine Physician to serve as an officer and clinician within the Army Reserve health care team. You will practice emergency medicine in your community and serve when called, caring for a diverse patient population including Soldiers and their families alongside top colleagues.

Requirements include an MD or DO from a U.S. accredited school, current U.S. medical license, board eligibility, and completion of a GME internship with EM training;

Qualifications

• Doctor of medicine or doctor of osteopathy degree from an accredited U.S. school of medicine or osteopathy.
• Current license to practice medicine in the United States, DC or Puerto Rico.
• Eligibility for board certification.
• Completion of at least one year of an approved Graduate Medical Education (GME) internship.
• Completion of a training program in emergency medicine.
• Between 21 and 42 years of age.
• Permanent U.S. residency.

Responsibilities

• Provide emergency medicine care as an officer on the U.S. Army Reserve healthcare team.
• Treat diverse patient populations including Soldiers and their families.
• Collaborate with a high‑caliber team across missions and communities.
