Job description

Newly Built Pediatric Emergency Department. Join our dedicated and close-knit team of eight physicians and three advanced practice providers in our brand-new Pediatric Emergency Department in Frederick, MD. We are seeking a Board-Certified Pediatrician or dual-trained Pediatric Emergency Medicine Physician to provide exceptional care to our pediatric patients.

Position Highlights:

1. Full-time position with 12-hour shifts
2. Dual EM/HM role - rounding on admissions required
3. Average daily patient volume: 45
4. Pediatric surgery consultations available from Johns Hopkins
5. Opportunities for teaching - work with medical students from the West Virginia School of Osteopathic Medicine

Compensation & Benefits:

1. $167/hr for days
2. $177/hr for nights
