Job summary

McLeod Health is recruiting an Emergency Medicine Physician for the Florence, South Carolina area. The physician will join the ED at McLeod Regional Medical Center, a Level II Trauma Center with 81 exam rooms, rapid access to imaging and labs, and a pediatric trauma area.

Flexible 8- or 12-hour shifts and a comprehensive benefits package are offered. This hospital-employed role requires EM training with Board Certification or Board Eligibility, and includes sign-on, relocation assistance, CME

Qualifications

• Must be EM-trained and Board Certified or Board Eligible in Emergency Medicine.
• Experience in high-volume ED settings is preferred.
• Strong commitment to patient care and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Join a high-volume Emergency Department serving nearly 75,000 patients annually.
• Work in a Level II Trauma Center with state-of-the-art trauma rooms.
• Provide care in a facility with 81 exam rooms and dedicated triage, imaging, and laboratory services.

Emergency Medicine Physician - Hospital-Employed - Florence

McLeod Health is seeking a BC/BE Emergency Medicine Physician to join the Emergency Department at McLeod Regional Medical Center in Florence, South Carolina.

Responsibilities and Practice Highlights include, but are not limited to:

• Join a high-volume Emergency Department serving nearly 75,000 patients annually.
• Work in a Level II Trauma Center with state-of-the-art trauma rooms.
• 81 exam rooms with dedicated triage, imaging, and laboratory services.
• Dedicated pediatric trauma room and separate psychiatric holding area.
• Covered patient drop-off area for rapid access and care.
• Flexible scheduling with approximately 14-15 shifts per month (8- or 12-hour shifts).
