Job description

VHS is looking for an Emergency Medicine Physician in El Paso, TX!

Program Details:

• 34 ED Beds
• ABEM BC
• 56k volume
• EMR- Meditech
• Daily: 48h Doc/ 8h MLP, level 2 trauma, med-high acuity
• Busiest ED in the city
• EM residency program- must be comfortable with supervising residents
• 2.5-3.7 Patients Per Hour
• Floor codes- yes, Adm orders- yes
• Minimum commitment: 5 shifts/month

Program Requirements:

• ACLS - Required regardless of certification
• ATLS - Must be able to prove provider was ATLS certified at least once
• VAR - Titer or Vaccine
• CHEST X-RAY - If PPD Positive, current within 5 years
• HBV-VACCINE - Titer or Vaccine
• MMR - Titer or Vaccine
• TDAP - Current within 10 years
• TB/PPD - Current within 12 months
• FLU SHOT - Current within 12 months
• No temp privileges
