Job summary

AMN Healthcare seeks an Emergency Medicine Physician to support locum tenens needs at a Texas facility. The role features 12-hour shifts with 6:00 a.m.–6:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m.–6:00 a.m. coverage, Meditech EMR, and 24-hour APP support.

Board‑certified ABEM physicians with an active Texas license and at least 2 years of ED experience (or Family Medicine with an EM fellowship) are required. Competitive pay and travel arrangements provided.

Qualifications

• ABEM board certified; active Texas medical license; minimum 2 years of ED experience or Family Medicine with Emergency Medicine fellowship.

Responsibilities

• Provide Emergency Medicine coverage during assigned shifts.
• Coordinate with NP/PA coverage and back-up consults.
• Document care in Meditech EMR and participate in daily operations.
