Job description

A level IV trauma center with an annual volume of 22,000 is seeking an Emergency Medicine Physician for locum tenens coverage.

The Clinton, Iowa area offers year-round attractions, outstanding annual events, live theater, unique restaurants, and historic districts. Don't miss visiting the state-of-the-art marina and riverfront amenities during your assignment.

The emergency department operates with 12-hour physician shifts and daily 12-hour support from advanced practice providers (APPs). Physicians can expect to see approximately two patients per hour and will use Cerner as the electronic medical record system. ED physicians are responsible for responding to floor codes but do not handle patient admissions. Trauma cases are transferred to the University of Iowa.
