Responsibilities

1. Provide high-quality emergency medical care to patients of all ages experiencing acute medical conditions.
2. Conduct thorough assessments and develop individualized treatment plans based on patient evaluations.
3. Collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary healthcare team to ensure comprehensive patient care.
4. Perform necessary emergency procedures and interpret diagnostic tests to guide treatment decisions.
5. Communicate with patients and their families regarding diagnoses, treatment options, and follow-up care.
6. Participate in quality assurance and improvement initiatives in alignment with organizational goals.
7. Actively mentor and train junior medical staff and students, promoting a culture of learning and development.

Requirements

1. MD or DO degree from an accredited institution.
2. Board certification/Board eligible in Emergency Medicine.
3. Valid and unrestricted medical license to practice in New York State.
4. New graduates are welcome.
5. Current certifications in ACLS, ATLS, and PALS are mandatory.
6. Demonstrated ability to work effectively in fast-paced and high-pressure environments.
7. Excellent communication skills and a strong commitment to patient-centered care.
8. Willingness to contribute to ongoing professional development and stay updated with advancements in emergency medicine.
