Job description

We are an established medical practice serving Cincinnati, Indianapolis, and the surrounding areas, specializing in evaluations for patients with swallowing disorders. Currently, we are seeking additional physicians to join our team. Both full-time and part-time positions are available, and physicians with various levels of experience are encouraged to apply. During training, compensation will be provided.

Compensation and Benefits

1. Annual income for working 4 to 5 days a week ranges approximately from $160,000 to $225,000 or more, depending on volume.
2. Benefits include health coverage, a 401(k) retirement plan, and an educational stipend.
3. No weekend or night call responsibilities.
4. Malpractice coverage (including tail) is paid for by the practice. In over 19 years and 400,000 evaluations, there have been no malpractice inquiries or actions.

Practice Mission

Midwest Dysphagia Consultants aims to provide professional dysphagia consultations, including modified barium swallow studies, utilizing a mobile unit as depicted on our website.

Services and Scheduling

Our mobile unit facilitates swallowing studies requested by various facilities, private offices, and homebound patients. Requests are routed through our office staff and scheduled within 24 to 72 hours, with same-day scheduling possible based on volume and location. Our team ensures staff is home between 4:00 and 5:00 PM daily.
