- Must be board certified in Emergency Medicine or equivalent.
- Active Michigan License required with clean background.

- Provide care for approximately 80 patients per day.
- Perform various emergency procedures and manage acute medical issues.

Coverage Needed:
- ASAP - ongoing
- Schedule: 9 or 10-hour shifts, with the possibility of 12-hour shifts: 6am to 3pm, 8pm to 6am, 9pm to 6am, 12pm to 10pm, 12pm to 9pm, 3pm to 12am, and 6pm to 6am
- Specific Dates: 04/30-05/01, 05/03-05/04, 05/10-05/11, 05/22-05/23, 06/15, 06/17, 06/19, 07/08, 07/11, 07/15, 07/21, 08/01, 08/04-08/07, 08/10-08/15, 08/16-08/18, 08/21-08/22, 08/26, 09/12-09/14, 09/19, 10/03, 10/06-10/09, 10/13, 10/17, 10/22, 10/24, 10/31
Clinical Details:
- Patients per day: Approximately 80, with 1.8 patients per hour for physicians
- Support Staff: Advanced Practice Provider (APP) for 12 hours, full Emergency Department support with nursing and tech, full radiology, full lab
- EMR: Cerner
- Procedures/Skills: Adult Outpatient, Pediatric-General Outpatient, Newborn resuscitation, Orthopedic-Non-displaced fractures, Suturing of minor lacerations, Incision & Drainage, Psychiatric-Uncomplicated adult, Psychiatric-Uncomplicated child/adolescent, Psychiatric-Uncomplicated geriatric, Diagnosis & management of common industrial-related medical problems, Ventilation management-establishing & maintaining an airway; various modes of ventilation for up to 24 hrs w/o pulmonary consultation, Evaluation & management of acute volume/BP issues, Central Line, Arterial Line, EKG Interpretation, Arthrocentesis, Lumbar puncture, Paracentesis, EM related procedures
Requirements:
- Board Certified in Emergency Medicine
- Family Medicine, or Internal Medicine with a minimum of 2+ years of recent Emergency Department experience
- Active Michigan License
- Certification Requirements: ACLS, BLS, PALS
- Provider must be local to the area
- Must have a clean background
