Qualifications

1. License: The physician(s) assigned by the Contractor to perform services under this contract must have a current license to practice medicine in any U.S. State, Territory, or the District of Columbia when services are performed onsite at VA property. All licenses held must be full and unrestricted. Physicians with licenses that are restricted, suspended, revoked, voluntarily surrendered pending action, or denied upon application will not be considered for this contract.
2. Board Certification: All physician(s) must be Board Certified or Board Eligible in Emergency Medicine. While strongly encouraged, certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) is not required unless mandated by facility policy.
