Job summary

The Society of Critical Care Medicine is looking for an Army Reserve Emergency Medicine Physician to tackle unique medical cases and assist patients in need. As an emergency physician, you will serve as an officer in the U.S. Army Reserve and provide care for Soldiers and their families while practicing in your community.

This role requires a Doctor of Medicine or Osteopathy degree, a current medical license, and eligibility for board certification. Compelling benefits include Health Professional Special Pay and an opportunity for loan repayment.

Requirements

• Doctor of medicine or doctor of osteopathy degree from an accredited U.S. school of medicine or osteopathy; foreign graduates may apply if they have a permanent certificate from the Educational Council of Foreign Medical Graduates
• Current license to practice medicine in the United States, District of Columbia or Puerto Rico
• Eligibility for board certification
• Completion of at least one year of an approved Graduate Medical Education (GME) internship
• Completion of a training program in emergency medicine
• Between 21 and 42 years of age
• Permanent U.S. residency
