Macwell Health Partners seeks a board-certified Emergency Medicine Physician for overnight coverage at a Level IV trauma center in southern Oklahoma. The position is a locum tenens with 12-hour overnight shifts from 5PM to 7AM.

The assignment is ongoing through December 2026 and includes full travel and expenses coverage. Candidates must hold MD or DO, ABEM/AOBEM certification, an active Oklahoma license (or willingness to obtain), and BLS.

Qualifications

• ABEM or AOBEM board certification is required.
• Active Oklahoma medical license or willingness to obtain.
• BLS certification is required.
• Clean malpractice history is required.
• Comfortable with overnight shifts (5PM–7AM).
• Available to start as soon as possible.

Responsibilities

Position Overview:

A hospital in southern Oklahoma has an ongoing opening for a board certified Emergency Medicine Physician to provide locum tenens overnight coverage. This is a long term opportunity for the right candidate with full travel and expenses covered.

Schedule:

• Overnight coverage — 5PM to 7AM
• 12 hour shifts
• Ongoing long term opportunity through December 2026

Facility Details:

• Level IV Trauma Center
• Monthly volume — 1,300 plus patients
• EMR — Meditech Expanse
• Southern Oklahoma location

Compensation and Benefits:
