The Clinical Pharmacist Emergency will thrive within Emergency Room Pharmacy Services closely aligned with the Emergency Department pharmacy, supported by a hospital that is a premier 269‑bed regional referral center serving the Upper Cumberland, offering top‑tier specialized care—including advanced robotics and orthopedic surgery—without the need for city tax dollars; it provides high‑quality, comprehensive healthcare closer to home, often rivaling larger urban institutions, and boasts a 34‑bed Emergency Department that sees roughly 55,000 patients annually—an ideal environment for a Clinical Pharmacist Emergency seeking diverse, high‑impact cases.

The Pharmacy Specialist Emergency Medicine will typically report to a Director of Pharmacy or ED Pharmacy Manager with matrix support from Emergency Department leadership, and the Pharmacy Specialist Emergency Medicine will be backed by 24/7 pharmacist and technician coverage, robust order sets, rapid consult availability, and real‑time analytics to guide practice;
