Job summary

MaineHealth Maine Medical Center Biddeford/ Sanford Emergency Department is seeking a full-time Physician Associate to expand our ED PA program. This provider will work with Emergency Department Physicians in Biddeford and Sanford, including care in our CDU (Observation Unit).

Requirements include a Bachelor's degree and completion of an accredited PA program, Maine license or eligibility, and preferred ED/EMS experience. Competitive compensation, benefits, and relocation support are offered.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and completion of an accredited PA program.
• Current Maine license or eligibility for licensure.
• Emergency Medicine/EMS experience preferred.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to triage, organize, prioritize and work in a team.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care in the ED and CDU alongside ED physicians.
• Support rapid assessment, treatment and disposition decisions.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure patient safety.
• Utilize Epic EMR for documentation and orders.
