Job summary

Qualifications

• Graduate of an AMA approved Physician Assistant Program or other licensure meeting state requirements.
• National Certification in State of employment or licensure via reciprocity.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and treat acute, episodic, or chronic illnesses, independently or with a healthcare team.
• May order, perform, or interpret diagnostic tests such as labs and X-rays.
• May prescribe.
• Provide care of hospitalized patients and have full patient management throughout the shift.

Education

AMA approved Physician Assistant Program or equivalent licensure
