Job summary

Edphysician is seeking a highly experienced emergency medicine physician assistant (PA-C) to provide patient-centered care in Blackwell and Perry, Oklahoma. The role requires high clinical autonomy in busy emergency settings with offsite physician supervision available.

Candidates must have a minimum of 4 years of emergency medicine experience and an accredited PA program degree. Competitive compensation and benefits including health insurance and 401k plan are offered.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited physician assistant program.
• Current certification by NCCPA (PA-C).
• Active Oklahoma PA license (or ability to obtain prior to start date).
• Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications.
• Minimum of 4 years of emergency medicine experience required.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive medical screenings and histories.
• Evaluate, diagnose, and manage acute conditions.
• Order and interpret diagnostic tests like labs and imaging.
• Perform procedures within scope of practice.
• Initiate treatment plans and prescribe medications.
