Job summary

Emergency Physicians of the Rockies (EPR) is seeking experienced Physician Assistants with 1–2 years of Emergency Department experience to join our growing, physician-owned practice full-time in Northern Colorado.

As a valued member of a collaborative team, you will work alongside EM physicians across Level I–III trauma centers and freestanding EDs, performing assessments, ordering studies, and developing treatment plans with autonomy and physician support.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant program.
• Current DEA licensure.
• 1–2 years of Emergency Department experience strongly preferred.
• Knowledge of emergency medicine practices, procedures and equipment.
• Strong clinical judgment and communication skills.
• Genuine interest in emergency medicine and high-acuity practice.

Responsibilities

• Assess and diagnose ED patients and interpret diagnostic studies.
• Develop and implement treatment plans and prescribe medications.
• perform procedures and coordinate referrals and care teams.
• Communicate effectively with patients, families and providers.
