Job summary

Emergency Physicians of the Rockies (EPR) is seeking experienced Physician Assistants with 1-2 years of dedicated Emergency Department experience to join our growing, physician-owned practice full-time in Northern Colorado.

APPs work alongside board-certified emergency medicine physicians in a collaborative environment, handling patient assessment, ordering studies, developing treatment plans, prescribing medications, and coordinating referrals and care.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant program.
• Current DEA licensure.
• 1-2 years of Emergency Department experience strongly preferred.
• Knowledge of emergency medicine practices, procedures, and equipment.
• Strong clinical judgment, communication skills, and commitment to patient-centered care.

Responsibilities

• Assess and diagnose patients in the ED.
• Order and interpret diagnostic studies; develop treatment plans.
• Prescribe medications and perform procedures as needed.
• Coordinate referrals and communicate with patients, families, physicians and care teams.
