Job summary

Duke Regional Hospital in Durham, NC is seeking passionate Advanced Practice Providers to join our Emergency Medicine team. Work alongside attending physicians, nurses and interdisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality, patient-centered care in a busy community hospital setting.

This full-time role features 14–16 ten-hour shifts monthly, with rotating days, nights and weekends, comprehensive onboarding, and relocation assistance where eligible.

Qualifications

• NPs must have a Master’s degree in Nursing.
• FNP, ACNP, or AGACNP with pediatric certificate required.
• PAs must have a Bachelor’s degree; Master’s preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct clinical services for critically ill patients per protocols.
• Perform triage, exams, orders, and coordinate care.
• Develop and implement treatment plans with attending physicians.
• Analyze practice patterns to improve care efficiency.
• Document results and communicate with the care team.
• Lead and mentor within advanced practice.
