About Las Palmas

• Level III Trauma Center
• Annual patient volume of 27,500
• 30-bed ED
• EMR: Meditech
• MModal Dictation: a speech-to-text documentation platform that streamlines charting, enhances accuracy, and reduces administrative responsibility; this tool helps clinicians spend more time with patients and less time on paperwork
• 26 hours of physician coverage
• 16 hours of APC coverage

Position Requirements

• Board prepared or board certified in EM through American Board of Emergency Medicine (ABEM), American Osteopathic Board of Emergency Medicine (AOBEM)
• Current ACLS, PALS, and ATLS certifications
• Texas medical license and DEA or ability to obtain prior to start date

Pay Structure

• Independent contractor status (1099)
