SEARHC in Alaska seeks a board-certified/eligible physician to lead emergency medicine at Mt. Edgecumbe Hospital. You will deliver comprehensive care to patients from newborns to geriatrics and collaborate with village providers across Southeast Alaska.

The role requires Alaska licensure, ABFP/ABIM/ABEM eligibility, and active resuscitation skills. A strong clinical leader is essential in this remote regional health system.

Qualifikationen

• MD or DO with accredited residency in Family Practice, Medicine/Pediatrics, or Emergency Medicine.
• Alaska Medical License issued by Alaska State Medical Board.
• Certification by ABFP, ABIM/Pediatrics, or ABEM is acceptable.
• BLS, PALS, ACLS, ATLS certifications required.

Aufgaben

• Provide ER care for Mt. Edgecumbe Hospital patients across ages.
• Deliver evaluations, diagnoses, and complex therapies.
• Serve as consult liaison to village providers in SE Alaska.
• Participate in medical staff functions and QA meetings; may lead service.
