Job summary

TeamHealth is seeking a full-time emergency core faculty member to join The Brooklyn Hospital Center in New York. The candidate should be board certified or board eligible in ABEM or AOBEM, with a strong interest in resident education and leadership in emergency medicine.

The Brooklyn Hospital Center EM residency program hosts 32 residents with a long-standing academic affiliation and regional stroke/STEMI capabilities.

Qualifications

• Board certified or board eligible in ABEM or AOBEM.
• Fellowship completed or experience in critical care, EMS, research, simulation, sports medicine, or ultrasound preferred.
• Experience teaching and mentoring emergency medicine residents.

Responsibilities

• Teach and mentor EM residents in a Brooklyn-based residency program.
• Lead residency education activities and curriculum planning.
• Provide clinical care as part of the emergency medicine faculty.
