Job summary

Medicus is partnering with a hospital in western Arizona to place an Emergency Medicine physician on a contract assignment. The shift runs 7p-7a with about 10 patient encounters per rotation and no call requirement.

Board-certified or board-eligible physicians are eligible, with required DEA, BLS, PALS, ACLS, and ATLS certifications; NRP preferred. Travel and lodging are provided, and Medicus offers licensing/credentialing support, malpractice coverage, a dedicated recruiter, and streamlined

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with ED team to manage patient volume (approx. 10 per shift) and ensure timely patient throughput.
• Maintain documentation and compliance with credentialing and licensing requirements.
