Northwell Health invites a dynamic leader to serve as Emergency Medicine Chair, overseeing administrative, academic, operational and clinical activities across the department. The role includes collaboration with service line and hospital leadership on recruiting, finance, and development initiatives within the network.

The ideal candidate will bring strong mentoring, comfort with dyadic leadership models, and a track record in academic leadership while engaging with the Staten Island community

Qualifications

• The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in mentoring and success in dyadic leadership formats.
• Prior faculty or leadership experience in an academic department preferred.
• Familiarity with Staten Island and cultural competence to build community relationships.

Responsabilités

• Provide administrative, academic, operational and clinical oversight of the department.
• Collaborate with service line leadership and hospital leadership on recruiting, finance and business development.
• Engage in clinical research and education with Northwell Health's network.
• Support Emergency Medicine academics and residency/fellowship programs.
