ChristianaCare is seeking a part-time hybrid advanced practice provider (PA/NP) for the ED callback team. The role collaborates with the service line and other departments to ensure timely follow-up of ED results and uses established protocols for further evaluation, testing, or treatment.

The position covers 40 hours biweekly with some virtual hours and requires coverage 7 days a week including holidays, across Delaware and Maryland campuses. BLS, DE license, and MD eligibility are required.

Formación

• Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant Program or Nurse Practitioner Program.
• National certification as a Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner.
• Unrestricted Delaware license and Maryland license eligibility.
• Prescriptive authority and DEA licensure in Delaware; MD licensure eligibility for prescriptive authority and DEA.
• BLS certification.

Responsabilidades

• Review all results (lab and radiology) for discharged ED patients.
• Inform patients of post-discharge results and coordinate follow-up care.
• Answer calls from patients and pharmacists; assist with visit questions and medication adjustments.
• Return off-hours voicemails.
• Coordinate transparency for exposures involving non-CCHS staff.
• Initiate referrals to appropriate resources and services; collaborate with departments and providers.
• Document follow-up care in the EHR.
• Educate ED residents and PA Fellows on the callback role.
