Job summary

Atrium Health Wake Forest Baptist in Winston-Salem, NC, is seeking an Emergency Medicine APP to join our Level I trauma ED, a high-volume tertiary center affiliated with Wake Forest University School of Medicine.

You will collaborate with EM physicians, residents and nurses while developing independence and managing acute and chronic conditions, with career development in education and leadership opportunities.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited NP or PA program is required.
• Current license or eligibility to practice as NP or PA in North Carolina.
• ENP certification or eligibility for nurse practitioners is required.
• BLS and ACLS current; ATLS within a reasonable timeframe after starting.

Responsibilities

• Work with EM physicians, APPs, nurses and staff to improve patient outcomes in a high-volume ED.
• Collaborate while maintaining increasing independent practice at the top of license.
• Engage in opportunities in education, administration and leadership as available.
• Provide compassionate, evidence-based acute and chronic care in a Level I trauma center.
