Job Summary

A Physician Assistant (PA) is a healthcare professional who practices medicine under the supervision of a licensed physician. PAs play a crucial role in the healthcare system by providing diagnostic, therapeutic, and preventive healthcare services. • Patient Assessment - Conduct thorough medical histories and physical examinations. Order and interpret diagnostic tests, such as blood work and imaging studies. Formulate differential diagnoses based on clinical findings.

Required Education

• Completion of an accredited nursing/physician assistant program.

Required Experience

• 2 plus years' experience as a physician assistant in primary care.

Required Licenses and Certifications

• State licensure and compliance with ongoing continuing education requirements.
• Certification as a Physician Assistant by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA).
• Current BLS and ACLS certification.
