HCA Florida JFK North Hospital is seeking a full-time experienced EM APP (NP/PA) who is board-certified and Florida-licensed to practice at JFK Medical Center-North in Palm Beach, FL. The ED handles ~32,000 visits per year with 12 beds, including 6 fast track and 6 vertical, plus 10 psych beds.

Expect 24/7 in-house Behavioral Health Sciences support, 36-hour physician coverage, and 24-hour APP coverage (9a–9p; 1p–1a). DEA license is required and benefits include a comprehensive package.

• 1+ year Emergency Dept work experience.
• Board certification required.
• Florida license required.
• DEA license required.

Responsibilities

• Provide EM APP coverage per schedule (9a-9p; 1p-1a) with 24/7 in-house behavioral health.
• Collaborate with ED physicians to ensure quality patient care and throughput.
• Maintain board certification and active Florida license while working in a high-volume ED.

• 15-20% admit rate
