The role offers mostly 9- to 10-hour shifts with some 12-hour days, weekends, and holidays, in hospital and freestanding ED settings, with 70/30 physician/APC coverage and AI scribe support.
You will provide patient-centered care, perform laceration repairs, I&D, eye exams, and work under collaborative physician oversight.

NURSE PRACTITIONER EM- NORTH FLORIDA

Opening due to regional expansion
No trauma designation
Volume expectation is 1.5 -2 patients per hour
EMR system: Epic (w/ PACS, Dragon dictation, and AI scribe)
Physician coverage model: 70% physician/ 30% APC
Scribe / support staff: AI scribe, HUC (unit secretary), Tech (splints/IV)
Specialty back-up: Hospitals (Gen surg, Most Surgical Specialists, Anesthesia, OBGYN) **some IR
Schedule structure: Mostly 9- & 10-hour shifts. Occasional 12-hour.
11 ' 13 Shifts per month, No call
Weekend & some holiday coverage required.
Competencies include laceration repairs, I&D, FB removal & full eye exam.
Patient population primarily underserved, non-urban, young family's vs retirement
Volume expectation is 1.5 -2 patients per hour.

Thorough onboarding and orientation support
Guaranteed $85.00 per hour.
With bonus up to > $95 per hour
Plus, Nighttime shift differential
Minimum 2 years of experience in EM as practicing APC
Certifications required: ACLS, PALS
DEA / CSR Not required.
Board certification APRN or PA for both adult & kids.

Board Certified or Board Eligible Medical Doctor with or w/o US residency with current US work visa.
