Job summary

SMG System Medical Group seeks an Advanced Practice Provider (PA or NP) to practice in the Department of Emergency Medicine at Princeton Community Hospital. The position is full-time and involves outpatient clinical care in emergency medicine with a focus on preventive health practices.

Candidates must have a PA or NP degree and be eligible for state licensure. Emergency medicine/Urgent care experience is preferred; new graduates are considered.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a CCNE accredited nursing program with Master’s Degree in Nursing.
• National Certification by one of the recognized APRN Certification Centers.
• Licensure, or eligibility for licensure, as a professional Registered Nurse and Advanced Practice Registered Nurse in Pennsylvania.
• CNOR Certification required.
• BLS Certification required with additional Advanced Life Support training at the discretion of the department.
• Bachelor’s Degree as Physician Assistant, or Master’s Degree as Physician Assistant required.
• Graduate of an ARC-PA approved Physician Assistant (PA) training program required.
• Certification by the National Commission for Certification of Physician Assistants required.
• Must be licensed or eligible for licensure by the PA Board of Medicine.
• BLS Certification required with additional Advanced Life Support training at the discretion of the department.

Responsibilities

• Practice in Emergency Medicine, providing comprehensive outpatient clinical care and establishing preventive health practices.
• Deliver care in emergency medicine settings and participate in department initiatives and protocols.

The successful candidate will practice in the areas of Emergency Medicine. In addition to providing comprehensive outpatient clinical care to patients in an emergency medicine capacity and establish preventive health practices for patients.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications for Nurse Practitioner

Education, Certification, and/or Licensure
