Position Summary

We are seeking a compassionate and dependable Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) to join our Mobile Integrated Healthcare team. In this role, you'll provide basic life support (BLS), safe patient transport, and assist in delivering high-quality care across a variety of settings—from hospitals to patient homes. EMTs with Hospital to Home LLC are more than transport professionals; they are healthcare advocates helping to close gaps in care.

Key Responsibilities

  • Respond promptly and professionally to scheduled and unscheduled medical transports and patient assessments.
  • Provide basic life support services, including CPR, oxygen administration, splinting, and patient monitoring.
  • Assist Paramedics and healthcare staff during assessments, treatments, and transports.
  • Operate emergency vehicles safely and in accordance with company policy and local/state regulations.
  • Maintain clean, stocked, and operational ambulances and equipment at all times.
  • Complete accurate, timely documentation of all care and services rendered using electronic or paper systems.
  • Communicate effectively with dispatch, hospital staff, patients, and families.
  • Uphold a compassionate, respectful bedside manner in all interactions.
  • Follow HIPAA guidelines and maintain strict patient confidentiality.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Current State EMT Certification (NREMT certification if required by state or employer).
  • Valid CPR (BLS) certification; additional certifications (e.g., EVOC, ICS) are a plus.
  • Valid driver’s license for more than 3 years with an acceptable driving record.
  • Ability to lift, move, and carry patients and equipment in various settings. (125 lbs. individually & 250 assisted)
  • Excellent communication, teamwork, and customer service skills.
  • Experience in EMS, home healthcare, or patient transport preferred but not required.
  • Must be 21 years of age or older

Working Conditions

  • Shifts may include days, nights, weekends, and holidays.
  • Work involves physical activity, including lifting, walking, and driving.
  • Exposure to a variety of environments and weather conditions during field operations.
  • Occasional contact with stressful or emotionally challenging situations.
