Atlantic Health System's Atlantic Mobile Health unit invites applicants to join a paid EMT Trainee Program. This 12-week, full-time program provides classroom and field training to prepare for EMT certification and a transition into full-time EMT roles within Atlantic Health.

The January 4, 2027 class starts now. During training you will earn $19.24 per hour and gain hands-on exposure to MICU teams, transport operations, and real-world pre-hospital care, with a clear career path into EMT roles

Qualifications

• Eligibility for National EMT certification upon program completion.

Responsibilities

• Providing pre-hospital care to sick or injured patients.
• Performing inter-facility medical transportation.
• Assisting in emergency scenarios.
• Respond to 911 calls and support local first aid squads.
• Transport patients to and from hospitals and specialty centers.
• Assist MICU and paramedic teams during high-acuity cases.
• Collaborate with nurses, physicians, and hospital staff.
• Engage in community outreach and safety initiatives.
