Job summary

Saint Clare's Health in Denville, New Jersey, is seeking an Emergency Medical Technician to provide high-quality pre-hospital and inter-facility care. You will render basic life support, transport patients, and work as part of our clinical team serving neonatal to geriatric patients.

The role requires NJ EMT certification, BLS CPR, a valid driver's license, and within 12 months NJ certification if starting with another state. CEVO/ITLS/TCCC within 90 days, and prior EMT experience preferred.

Qualifications

• NJ EMT certification required.
• Out-of-state EMT accepted but must obtain NJ certification within 12 months of hire.
• Current Healthcare Provider – BLS CPR card required.
• CEVO/ITLS/TCCC must be obtained within 90 days of hire.
• Valid Driver’s License required.
• CEVO/ITLS/TCCC within 3 months of hire and renew in 3 years.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Previous EMT experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Render basic life support with compassion and dignity.
• Transport patients in pre-hospital and inter-facility settings.
• Provide care to patients from neonatal to geriatric.
• Act as a team member in accordance with hospital policies.
