Job summary

Armor Health is seeking an Emergency Medical Technician/Paramedic to join our team at the facility in Georgia. You will perform initial patient assessments and provide direct paramedical care within a correctional setting, following established policies and quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Performs initial assessment and management of illness or injury in accordance with specified protocol and procedure to patients entering a correctional facility.
• Provides direct paramedical and comprehensive patient care, as required in each individual case.
• Follows established departmental policies, procedures and objectives, continuous quality improvement objectives and safety, environmental and infection control standards.
• Administers appropriate emergency medical care including life support procedures, decontamination protocols, fluid/drug administration, obtaining EKG readings, and vital statistic monitoring.
